About me
I studied physics at the University of Granada, where I also completed the master's degree in physics and mathematics (FisyMat). I then moved to San Sebastián for a PhD at the Donostia International Physics Center (DIPC) and the University of the Basque Country, where I developed density functional theories for electronic and thermoelectric transport, and stayed on as a postdoc.
In 2025 I joined the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Trieste with a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship, to study how entanglement can assist thermoelectric transport.
Art has always been part of my life through my mother, the painter Marta Coll. I started painting murals when I was fourteen, and I have travelled to many places to paint walls.
Oil painting came much later: I started during the pandemic, and it has stayed with me since, mostly portraits and animals in vivid, fluorescent colour.
